Cancelling costs nothing
The app charges no cancellation fee, ever. Cancel from the booking screen in one tap.
- A booking can be cancelled until its date has passed. One dated earlier can no longer be cancelled.
- Please cancel as early as you can — the slot goes straight back to other customers.
- Cancelling a booking you never paid for leaves nothing to settle. There is no charge and no refund, because no money changed hands.
Every case, and what happens to money paid online
How the 24 hours are counted
Backwards from the start time of your booking — not from the day you booked, and not from the end of the service.
- A 2:30 PM slot on Saturday is refundable up to 2:30 PM on Friday.
- Cancel at 3:00 PM on Friday for that same slot and there is no refund, even though the appointment is still a day away.
Who makes the refund
Money paid online is collected by SuperSalon through a certified payment gateway and held until the salon is settled. So the refund is ours to make, not the salon’s.
- You never have to chase the salon for money you paid in the app.
- When a refund is made, the platform’s commission on that booking goes back with it — the booking simply stops counting towards the salon’s next payout.
- The salon is not out of pocket for a refund we make, and you are not caught between the two of us.
How it reaches you
- A refund goes back the same way you paid — to the same UPI account, card or bank account. We cannot send it anywhere else.
- We start the refund from our side within X working days of the cancellation qualifying.
- It then usually takes 3–5 working days to appear in your account. That part is your bank, not us.
- If it has not appeared after 7 working days, contact us with the booking and we will trace it with the gateway.
Asking for a refund
- Cancel in the app. Where the cancellation qualifies under this policy, the refund follows — you do not have to ask separately.
- Ask the salon first if you think something else is owed. Their number is on every booking, and they know what happened in the shop.
- Then come to us. If it is still unsettled, message us with the booking date, the salon and the amount, and we will look at it.
- Unhappy with how we handled it? The grievance redressal page is the next step.
If the salon cancels
A salon can cancel or reject a confirmed booking when it has no choice — staff on leave, a power cut, the shop shut. You get a notification, with their reason.
- Whatever you paid comes back to you in full, however close to the slot it happens. The 24-hour rule is about your notice to them, not theirs to you.
- The slot is released the same second, so you can book elsewhere immediately.
If you do not turn up
- The salon can mark the booking as No show once your slot has started.
- An advance on a no-show is not returned — the shop held that chair empty and turned others away. The money goes to the salon in its next settlement.
- Repeated no-shows can get a number blocked from booking.
- Cannot make it? One tap to cancel costs you nothing and keeps your record clean — and if you do it more than 24 hours ahead, you get your money back too.
